As the company enters an exciting period of growth, we are looking for a passionate, proactive and experienced Design & Product Coordinator to join our collaborative and creative team who is based at our beautiful office space in Marrickville.


Reporting to the Product Developer, this role will be responsible for and not limited to:
- Liaise with offshore suppliers and merchandiser daily on sampling matters
- Assist Product Developer in trend forecast, sourcing & specifications
- Track and follow up all outstanding samples, ensuring development is made as per specifications
- Monitor the critical path to ensure sample deadlines are met
- Sample room management
- Prepare samples for seasonal range reviews
- Request quotations for developed products
- Create seasonal costing sheets, and update prices as negotiated ensuring all products meet minimum margin
- Supplier price negotiations where required
- Product registration in AP21
- Assist product development team as required
- Liaise with production and buying departments
- Take meeting minutes during product reviews and carry out any action points required
- Liaise with national and international sales agents regarding seasonal ranges and send samples prior to sell period
- Create seasonal price lists for selling purpose
- Arrange DHL and direct freight shipments



- At least 1 year experience in a similar role, preferably within the fashion industry preferred, but not essential
- AP21 experience preferred, but not essential
- Strong computer literacy
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Strong time management skills and capable of working within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks, be flexible and prioritise workload
- Team oriented, but able to work autonomously
- Proven problem solving and decision-making skills, in all work-related tasks
