We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Digital Technology Manager to join our growing digital team! Based in our Marrickville head office, you will work closely with our digital agencies and partners and ensure that all digital software, technology and integrations are operating effectively and efficiently across the businesses 4 ecommerce sites.


Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- Defining the technology strategy and roadmap across the business and advise on feasibility, ensuring the right initiatives and technology investments are prioritised
- Managing vendor engagements and assessments in partnership with the Head of Marketing
- End to end delivery of all key technology related projects including management timelines, budget adherence and stakeholders for technical projects
- Ensuring all technology solutions are Performant, Secure, Cost Effective. Reliable, Scalable and Evolvable and ensure tech related dependencies and risks are understood and effectively mitigated
- Leading and monitoring our daily business operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems, and coordinate technology installations, upgrades, testing and maintenance
- Ensuring all technology related activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations


- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, software engineering, or related field (or proven experience in a similar role)
- 3 years or more managing IT infrastructure, platforms and integrations in a consumer-facing ecommerce environment
- Excellent communication and project management skills ideally underpinned by Aglile software delivery experience. Experienced with development, test automation and continuous delivery environments
- Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, IT security, and Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange
- Backend experience working with ecommerce sites, inventory management systems and middleware etc – Apparel 21 and Shopify Plus experience is highly regarded
- Highly organized and detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with multiple front-end languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Stencil, server-side languages (PHP and Java)
- Experience with progressive JavaScript frameworks such as Vue or React
- Experience designing and developing APIs, REST, Graph QL etc.
