As the company enters an exciting period of growth, we are looking for a new Head of Retail to direct our retail team and drive strategy and performance to achieve our organisational and revenue goals. This is a fast-paced role based at our head office in Marrickville and will require you to be hands on and lead by example to take our business to the next level.


Reporting to the General Manager and being part of the senior leadership team, you’ll take ownership of our retail stores and be responsible for:

- Recruiting, motivating and developing our retail team and building strong relationships with them
- Developing and implementing a retail strategy and plan  
- Overseeing sales, wages and shrinkage of all stores
- Effectively managing the VM team in order to implement and maintain VM guidelines
- Developing store budgets  
- Monitoring store performance and KPIs to guide the business to financial success  
- Influencing company culture to enhance the workplace environment  
- Identifying new opportunities to increase profitability and growth
- Reviewing and improving store systems, processes and procedures
- Working collaboratively with cross functional teams to ensure best practices are implemented in all stores


- 5+ years management experience in the Retail sector at a senior level with demonstrated success
- Passion and determination to drive sales through a hands-on leadership approach
Strong ability to build & nurture meaningful relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven ability to plan, project manage and deliver high performance
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and influence  
- Proven ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent visual merchandising skills
- Strong brand alignment and passion for the fashion/footwear industry
