PRODUCTION CO-ORDINATOR APPLICATION | SYDNEY
As the company enters an exciting period of growth, we are looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to ensure the brand is kept in high regard for on-time deliveries with exceptional quality and fit. You will be accountable for the workflow of the production department and ensure deadlines are met to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Reporting to the Production Manager this role will encompass the below duties:
- Raising purchase orders in AP21 and sending to suppliers, confirming orders and processing invoices
- Generating and sending product barcode reports to suppliers
- Liaising with off-shore suppliers daily, monitoring current purchase orders and delivery status, follow through on samples and submissions
- Fitting sales, PP and shipment samples with the Production Manager, creating and sending sample reports through to suppliers
- Approving bulk materials and re-sourcing where required
- Confirming ex-fty dates with suppliers ensuring on time delivery expectations are met
- Updating the critical path with accurate information on submission sending, approvals and ex-fty dates with clear comments on production status
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers
- Performing Quality Control checks on bulk production at our warehouse located at Smithfield (car required)
- Negotiate supplier discounts and claims where required
- Ad-hoc production related assistance to the Production Manager.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role;
- Previous experience in AP21 is advantageous but not essential;
- Experience in excel;
- Strong planning, coordinating and administration skills;
- Sense of drive and urgency, enjoy working in fast pace environment;
- A positive and energetic attitude with a passion for fashion footwear;
- Exceptional organizational skills and a strong work ethic;
- High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure and multi-task;
- Excellent written and communication skills along with fast and accurate data entry skills;
- The ability to work independently.
