Buyer Application | Billini Head Office

As Billini enters an exciting period of growth, we are looking for an experienced and results-driven Buyer with a love for accessories to join our growing team in Marrickville, Sydney. You will be a critical part of the Merchandise team and thrive working in a fast-paced, collaborative and supportive environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting to the Senior Buyer, this role will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Managing various aspects of buying through the knowledge of key seasonal trends, product sell through and customer feedback from retail stores
- OTB management at a topline and category level
- Assist in building commercial ranges, ensuring the customer is top of mind
- Analysing results and maintaining decision making reports
- Working with the Planning team on identifying stock movements and markdowns
- Working closely with the Product team to ensure product ranges are in line with business and customer requirements
- Adhering to critical path timelines to ensure stock is delivered at the right time
- Monitoring stock deliveries and communicating to wider business on ITSD
- Visiting retail stores and promoting an open and receptive culture between the retail team and buying team
- Assist with new store openings including initial stock buy
- Analysing seasonal results and strategy according to OTB and sales budgets
- In-season and post season analysis
- Promoting cross-functional communication with relevant stakeholders

ABOUT YOU

- 2+ years’ experience as a Junior Buyer or similar role within the fashion industry
- Intermediate - advanced Excel skills are a must  
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment for a high-volume retailer
- Highly driven to achieve sell through KPI’s and sales budgets
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Proven ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Apparel 21 (ERP) experience preferred but not essential
