Creative Content Manager

Reporting to the Head of Marketing/Head of Creative, the Creative Content Manager is a hands-on creative leader responsible for driving content as a growth engine across all channels. This role owns the strategy, production, and performance of content across paid, organic, and owned platforms - ensuring all output is visually compelling, commercially effective, and aligned to brand direction. The Creative Content Manager leads the development of high-quality, high-volume content that strengthens brand identity while delivering measurable impact across engagement, conversion, and revenue.

primary job responsibilities & duties

 
Content Strategy & Planning
• Develop and own a full-funnel content strategy, ensuring the right content is delivered across awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention stages.
• Own and manage the content calendar across all social channels, aligning to campaign priorities, product launches, and key trading moments.
• Partner closely with Head of Creative and Creative Lead to ensure content amplifies overarching campaign direction and brand vision, ensuring channel fit is considered.
• Work closely with buying and product teams to prioritise key product stories to deliver exciting and high-converting product launches.

Content Creation & Execution
• Lead the end-to-end development of content across all channels including social (Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn), and paid media channels, along with CRM and website where suitable.
• Concept, shoot, and oversee editing of platform-native content, ensuring all assets are optimised for performance and engagement.
• Lead on-set content direction across social shoots, ensuring all required assets are captured across formats and channels.
• Lead the concepting, creation, and execution of founder-led and brand-facing content, ensuring it is authentic, elevated, and aligned to brand storytelling and commercial objectives.
• Collaborate with Graphic and Content Designers to deliver cohesive, high-impact visual output across all touchpoints.
• Ensure all content is aligned to brand guidelines while continuously evolving and elevating creative standards.

Performance & Optimisation
• Own the performance of content across the funnel, with a focus on driving engagement, conversion, and revenue outcomes (CTR, CVR, ROAS, AOV contribution).
• Establish and lead a structured creative testing roadmap across paid and organic channels, including clear test-and-learn frameworks.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on content performance, translating insights into actionable improvements for future output.
• Partner with Senior Digital Marketing to develop high-performing paid creative aligned to platform best practice.

Content Systems & Scalability
• Own content production cadence, ensuring consistent delivery of high-volume, high-quality assets to support business needs.
• Partner with Influencer Specialist & PR Manager to build a UGC /creator content pipeline to support always-on content across paid and organic channels.
• Ensure all content is effectively repurposed across channels to maximise ROI on creative production.
• Oversee and maintain content library management, ensuring assets are organised, accessible, and usable across teams.
• Develop and refine content workflows and processes to improve efficiency, clarity, and output quality.

Brand & Cultural Impact
• Lead content across key brand moments including campaigns, PR activations, retail initiatives, and events.
• Contribute to founder-led and brand-facing content to strengthen brand storytelling and connection.
• Stay across industry trends, competitor activity, and cultural moments to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
• Continuously bring forward new, innovative ideas that elevate brand presence and drive engagement.

Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Lead, mentor, and elevate the Social Media Manager & Social Media Coordinator plus any of the broader content team, ensuring strong execution and development.
• Act as the internal expert on platform-native content, trends, and best practices across TikTok, Meta, and emerging channels.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Ecommerce, PR, Retail, and Product teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
 

QUALIFACTIONS & EXPERIENCE

Proven experience in a Senior Content role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating the ability to concept, direct, and deliver high-performing, on-brand content across multiple channels.
• Deep understanding of content as a commercial driver, with experience creating assets that contribute to engagement, conversion, and revenue outcomes.
• Strong on-set experience, with the ability to lead content direction across campaign and social shoots, ensuring all required assets are captured efficiently.
• Advanced capability in video-first content creation and editing, with a strong understanding of platform-native formats across TikTok and Meta.
• Highly proficient in interpreting performance data and translating insights into actionable creative improvements.
• Experience working within fashion, retail, or a fast-paced consumer brand environment, with a strong understanding of trend cycles and customer behaviour.
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams including Marketing, Ecommerce, Creative, and PR.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume content output while maintaining strong attention to detail and brand consistency.
• Strong eye for visual storytelling, with the ability to uphold and evolve brand aesthetic and creative standards, with an innate ability to bring ideas to life.
• Naturally proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to prioritise, adapt, and deliver in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
