Product Assistant

As Billini continues its exciting growth journey, this role plays an integral part in supporting the Product team to deliver against company KPIs and business objectives. In this fast-paced, administration-focused position, you will ensure all product administration is completed accurately and efficiently while providing proactive support across the product lifecycle. With a keen eye for detail and a collaborative approach, you will contribute to the continued success and growth of the business.

primary job responsibilities & duties

  • Liaise with offshore suppliers and merchandisers daily on sampling matters.
  • Track and follow up all outstanding samples, ensuring development is made as per specifications.
  • Monitor the critical path to ensure sample deadlines are met in line with KPIs.
  • Manage the sample room.
  • Prepare samples for seasonal range reviews.
  • Request quotations for developed products in line with KPIs.
  • Create seasonal costing sheets and update prices as negotiated, ensuring all products meet minimum margin in line with KPIs.
  • Negotiate supplier pricing where required.
  • Arrange payment of sample invoices.
  • Register products in AP21 in line with KPIs.
  • Name and code products.
  • Assist the Product Development team as required.
  • Liaise with Production and Buying departments regarding products and mitigate potential issues.
  • Take meeting minutes during product reviews and carry out action points as required.
  • Update supplier and product databases.
  • Liaise with national and international sales agents regarding seasonal ranges and send samples prior to selling periods.
  • Order seasonal lookbook and marketing samples from suppliers.
  • Create seasonal price lists for selling purposes in line with KPIs.
  • Provide the Marketing team with product samples for photography.
  • Arrange DHL and direct freight shipments.
