SYDNEY HEAD OFFICE POSITIONS

SENIOR FINANCIAL CONTROLLER


As Billini enters an exciting period of continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Financial Controller with a passion for retail to join our face-paced head office based in Marrickville. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the full finance function and leading a team of 4. You will be hands-on with a continuous improvement mind set to support business growth and general governance.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Being part of the senior leadership team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Monthly and Year to Date Management Reporting
- Consolidated Group Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reports
- Revenue Channel Profit & Loss including forecasting and variance analysis
- Detailed ratio & trend analysis of Channel Revenues, Gross Profit, Expenses, EBITDA, Profit Before Tax, Capex, Operational and Capital Efficiencies, including working capital / liquidity etc
- Cash Flow Forecasting – weekly, monthly and long term
- Preparation of suitable Financial Management Board Reports
- Finance Department Workflow Management
- Internal controls management. Reviewing / testing internal controls across Group Value Chain as required from time to time;
- Maintain a high-level financial model whereby sensitivity assumptions (revenue & expenses) can be tested for their effect on differing financial outcomes, which might impact the group business
- Manage the full budgeting and forecasting reporting process (including variance analysis) by liaising with various stakeholders
- Intercompany accounting

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- +5 years relevant experience from a RETAIL environment with operational exposure
- CPA/CA qualification
- ERP configuration skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrable experience in Management and Financial Reporting
- Excellent planning, interpersonal, people management, and team skills
- Strong Process / Systems Review / Internal Control management skills
- Experience with Board reporting and presentation (ideal)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commercial acumen with strong (yet flexible) business partnering skills

SENIOR ART DIRECTOR


As Billini enters an exciting period of continued growth, we are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Art Director to focus on the conceptualisation, production and delivery of all content, that connects with and inspires our audience. This fast-paced role based at our head office in Marrickville, reports to our Co-founder and Creative Director whom you will build a close partnership with as well as collaborate with our Marketing, Product and Merchandise teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

- Create and execute highly engaging seasonal campaigns and creative content that align with the brands DNA and target market
- Mentor, lead and inspire our Shoot Producer
- Work with various key internal stakeholders to ensure you develop a deep understanding of the products inspiration and brand messaging in order to translate that into quality and aspirational content
- Manage styling direction and execution in-line with approved shoot concept, as well as overall brand aesthetics
- Shoot attendance and on-set direction
- Direct and brief the creative roll out of seasonal campaigns across all touch points including in-store POS, digital and social channels in line with product releases
- Ensure all touch points are cohesive and continually evolving

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 3+ years experience in a similar role within the Fashion Industry
- Highly creative with a strong commercial foundation
- Proven ability at developing creative concepts and inspirational content
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong ability to meet tight deadlines and adhere to budgets
- Can-do and flexible attitude with a genuine passion for our brands
- Exceptional team player with a hands-on approach
- A high level of understanding of current and future trends
- Strong skills in Adobe and video editing is a plus

what you will do

Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for:
- Manage all warehouse operations in an effective and efficient manner to meet the needs of retail, eCommerce and wholesale divisions
- Meet and exceed dispatch and receipt KPI’s
- Lead, train and mentor 12 – 15 team members  
- Maintain a safe, organised and clean warehouse environment
- Ensure stock levels are accurate through regular stocktakes
- Manage internal driver and liaise with freight partners to ensure the efficient dispatch of all orders
- Manage and plan for all incoming warehouse deliveries including regular overseas containers
- Manage and oversee the timely unloading and receipting of all overseas containers in line with KPIs
Strategize and implement new procedures for improved warehouse efficiency and cost savings
- Liaise and communicate with all head office departments on a regular basis
- Recruit and develop team members

about you

- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within retail warehousing
- The ability to lead by example from the warehouse floor
- Forklift and drivers license
